What a Christmas

Hi there! Here I am....again. Yes I know it has been a while but I have been busy, very very busy.
But today just a short one. Just to let you see how we spend the days during Christmas. It was the best Christmas ever the children say. Just look at the picture that were taken while we were staying at my sister in law....

About rain en longing

This is what the weather looks like today and all the previous days during this two week break. Sometimes the sun tries to break through the thick cloudy blanket but with no succes. How great it would be to sit in the garden enjoying the morning sun while taking a sip of my tea....or to sit down and read in the late afternoon whith a nice glass of sparkling rosato....or to simply enjoy dinner with my family. I long for those long, light, warm summer days to arrive. So in the meantime we pretend it is indeed summer and try new recipes containing summer fruit and veggies and baking bread and cakes. And al those delicious and yummy goods will be eaten while playing board games and listening to some light piano music.....
